This western plateau features a large agricultural community, and after you emerge from the back country mountain road, you are greeted by a panorama of rice paddies and mountains. The Kashiwakawa Ide canal brings water to the expansive rice farms, which contrast nicely with the big country sky. The paddies and communities along the Tenjin River are especially charming.
