This course starts at Mokkonkan and visits the site of the Miyanoharu Line of the Japanese National Railways, Nuruyu Onsen, and the community of Kitazato. The course also takes you through the numerous hills and valleys around beautiful Mt. Waita. Baran-no-yu Onsen is a rare style of onsen in that the water is heated by a wood-burning furnace.
