Visit Waterfalls and Terraced Rice Paddies
The valley of the Mine Terraced Rice Paddies was selected as one of Japan's most beautiful rice paddy landscapes. The area is irrigated by the Kaeifukura Canal, which was dug over 150 years ago. Be sure to be thankful of the hard work of all the people who lived long ago to make this place so beautiful. The walk along the Mifune River, with sights like the Usogo Falls, is very enjoyable. This course shows off all the treasures Shimaki has to offer.
