Starting at Yamae Village Hall, this course takes you through an old-fashioned town with natural springs and public vegetable washing areas, then to the top of a plateau where you can get an aerial view of the surrounding area. Then, the course takes you through a chestnut orchard, through a cluster of rice paddies, and then finally to the small Suwa Shrine and the medieval period Yamada Daio Shrine.
