The Otemoyan Course visits a number of sites mentioned in the traditional Otemoyan song that is famous in Kumamoto. The course starts at the Otemoyan statue at the Shinkansen Exit of Kumamoto Station, and takes you under the 1000-year-old Husband and Wife Camphor Trees and to Kitaoka Shrine where Otemoyan, the girl the song is named after, visited.
